I have Found A New Family

 

Emmanuel is the last child of a family of four children.  About three years ago, he was rejected by his family for accepting Christ as his personal Lord and savior.

When asked by the media why he took the decision to accept Christ as his savior, he said the decision came as a result of his personal conviction and since then he had no place to stay or sleep until he met a woman who told him about Christian Faith Ministries. The same woman brought him to Christian Faith Ministries to join a new family and learn more about God.

According him, “I came here with nothing but Christian Faith Ministries took me as a member of the family. I have been given free access to food and shelter while learning about Jesus and His love for humanity. I am currently learning catering in Christian Faith Vocational Center without paying anything. I was so happy when I was given opportunity to join catering, this will help me to be useful to myself and anyone that comes around me. I am yet to finish my six-month catering training but so far, I have learnt a lot. I thank God and Christian Faith Ministries for showing me this love. I felt I have no family but now the story is different”.

Emmanuel happens to be one out of many Children in Christian Faith Ministries that have been rejected and hunted by family member for reaching out to Christ. Although some are rendered homeless because of crisis or bandits’ havoc which is on the increase most especially northern part of Nigeria.
