I Wish I Had Been To CFI Before Now

Oswald Ngah a bible college student from Cameroun spoke with media and communications on how he mislead people out of ignorance. He said when he came to Christian Faith Institute, he discovered that most of what he was telling the congregation was wrong, he was living in error. In fact, Oswald said he contacted his pastor to tell him if he can be given the opportunity to apologize to the congregation for teaching them the wrong thing.

Oswald said he knew about Christian Faith Institute from a Facebook friend who he had never met offline. This came when he was making efforts to go to a bible college in Cameroun but had an issue with the fee because it was very high. The friend he met online happened to be a student of the bible college and also a Camerounian. Oswald said that a Facebook friend shared with him testimonies from Christian Faith Institute and how unique the bible college operates. Oswald was told that Christian Faith Institute does not put money first but the training of those God has called first so even if has no money he should come down to Nigeria. According to Oswald, he could hardly believe what he heard but decided to come because of much assurance from the student.

In his words, “Now I believe in what I was told about Christian Faith Institute. I could not believe I will be attended to if I have no money. Right from my childhood at the age of ten, I labored for anything and therefore I had lived to believe that anything I have to achieve in this life must come from my sweat. I never believe that my accommodation and feeding will be paid for by someone. The bible college gave me 100% scholarship, my first experience of this kind. I have free access to vocational skills here, something that will be useful when I return back to my country. I have been discussing with many of my missionary friends how we can engage youths so that they won't be idle. Now with these vocational skills, I have a tool in my hand to engage idle youths in our community”.

Just like many other students of the college, Oswald said apart from learning or gaining from the giving habit of the entire ministry, he has learned to be patient which is a great virtue. A servant of God must be patient if he or she must work with God. Oswald who is left with few days to round off his diploma program said he will continue with his studies to the degree level to learn more.
