Indeed, there should be no different between where God’s
people are and heaven. God’s presence is ever with His people and His presence is
heaven on earth.
This was the testimony of Nwo Silas Masok, a military officer
who is currently serving in Christian Faith Ministries along with other military
men under him. In his testimony during a live Sunday service at Christian Faith
Ministries, Mr. Silas testified of God’s faithfulness and mercy over
his life throughout his 34 years’ service with the Nigerian army which is about
to end soon. He acknowledged God for keeping him alive and safe through all
kinds of military operations.

According to Mr. Silas, among 1200 men that were enlisted to be trained for the military services, he was among the
200 persons chosen by the Nigerian army. And while in active service, some of them died, while some are still bedridden up to this moment. Silas told the congregation that,
he is overwhelmingly grateful for not just ending his service with the Nigeria
army in good health, but also ending his service here in Christian Faith Ministries; an
orphanage home where he has witnessed God’s presence and love over the needy.
In his words, “Ever since I was posted to this ministry, I experience a different atmosphere. Unlike other institutions or places, I have worked before, I have never experienced a peaceful environment like this one. There is no day we were called to come and settle a quarrel or separate a fight. And therefore, I see this place as heaven on earth”.

Mr. Silas Masok who is about to proceed for his three months
terminal leave in preparation for his retirement said, he learnt while serving
in Christian Faith Ministries that, even after his retirement from active
service with the Nigerian army, he will be into another service which is
looking after helpless children just as Christian Faith Ministry is doing. That,
he believes God brought him to this place for this purpose.
