Whatever He says to you, do it. - John 2:5

Wow! What a statement of faith from Mary Magdalene, the mother of Jesus Christ: "Whatever He says to you, do it" (John 2:5)). How could Mary, who had given birth to Jesus Christ and watched Him grow, have such faith in Him as the answer to every misfortune in life?

Mary Magdalene, the mother of Jesus, and Jesus Christ Himself, along with His disciples, were wedding guests at Cana of Galilee. There came a moment when they were faced with an unfortunate reality: they ran out of wine and had to mention it to Mary Magdalene, the mother of Jesus Christ. Mary was not perplexed; she knew that she had God in the flesh in their midst, and whatever He said would be the answer.

Right from the moment Mary had an encounter with God's angel concerning the child that she would conceive of the Holy Spirit to save the world, Mary did not doubt at any time that the child she was to give birth to would not just be a divine personality but God in the flesh. And thus, whatever God says becomes a reality. When God says something, it is as good as done.

By implication, Mary Magdalene categorically said that the key to breakthrough, success, the way forward in life, or the answer to any closed door is obedience to whatever Jesus Christ says (God's word).

Are you confused, hopeless, stagnant, and lost in life? Have you been searching for a solution or looking for a way forward in life for so long without success? The key or solution is "Whatever He says to you, do it." You will see breakthrough, victory, and true success when you obey whatever God has spoken to you from His word.

There was a time in the life of the disciples of Jesus Christ when they experienced a total failure in their fishing career. They toiled all night without a single catch, and their skills or experience failed. They were about to go home without a fish. But Jesus Christ gave Simon Peter the key to a breakthrough: "Whatever He says to you, do it." Jesus asked Peter to cast his net into the deep, but Peter told Jesus that he had already done that all through the night without success. Simon said, "Master, we have toiled ALL NIGHT and caught nothing; nevertheless, at YOUR WORD I will let down the net" (Luke 5:5).

The Bible says that when they had OBEYED THE WORD, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking. The key is not ALL NIGHT, nor about your effort, but obedience to God's word. "This book of law (God's word) shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success" (Joshua 1:8).

This message is coming to you because God wants you to prosper this year. He wants you to prosper, succeed, and be fruitful more than you do. Why not accept His key or secret to prosperity or good success with a guarantee of eternal life? Anything Satan gives through sin is robbed of eternity. Which one will you choose?

We pray that you will emulate those who listened to Mary's advice to do whatever Jesus Christ asked them to do, so that you will receive the answer you have been searching for all this while.
